Verify

Compare the checksum before you install

Verify the checksum of any image you download, regardless of whose network it came from. The command prints one line. It must match the checksum above.

$ sha256sum onie-bisdn-generic-x86-64-v6.0.0.bin

On a Mac the command is shasum -a 256 instead of sha256sum.

If it does not match, do not install the image, and write to us.
